Jemmac Software
Who we are Jemmac Software Limited

We are a specialist Software Development company based within the M1/M40 technology arc in the UK. Our offices are at Cranfield Technology Park in Bedfordshire.

Founded in 1998, we have very successful working relationships with a wide variety of clients, ranging from blue-chip companies such as ExxonMobil, HP, DeltaRail, David Lloyd and Imperial Oil to innovators such as TrafficMaster, Masternaut, Geodesa and Changing Systems.

By combining the use of established methodologies with a talent for innovation we ensure that our software is customised to meet the needs of each individual client.

Our origins are in Process Control.

Our roots

Jemmac was founded in 1998 by Mark Fisher, James Weedon and Mark Freeman. In 2009 Freeman left to pursue new ventures and was replaced as Technical Director by Matthew Underwood.

The Jemmac management team worked together in the Energy division at SD-Scicon (which became EDS, then Compaq and now HP!) in Milton Keynes in the early 1990's and quickly recognised some common traits in each other, namely:

  • A desire to deliver quality solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • The drive to do whatever is required to deliver on time.
  • An intense dislike of failure!
These common ideals went on to become the fundamental principles behind Jemmac and have been key in successfully driving the business forward over the last 21 years.

Our Experience

The three Jemmac Directors have over 87 years IT business experience between them. This has been gained in one of the most demanding environments for software - the Oil and Petrochemicals industry.
