Graduate Software Engineers

Suitable for candidates possessing, or working towards a degree in a scientific or numerate subject with a proven track record of academic excellence and anticipating an Upper Second or First class classification.

About you

Software development experience is not essential, but an aptitude for problem solving and learning new skills and technologies are.

Applicants should have superior communication skills, a high standard of written English being essential. You will take a strong pride in what you do and have a deep rooted commitment to delivering excellence.

The role

You will follow an initial training programme during your probationary period before progressing on to billable project work. Project teams vary in size from 1-2 man teams for small developments (less than 3 weeks) up to larger teams working on systems requiring more than 5 man years of development time.

The role is based at our offices on Cranfield Technology Park working 37.5 hours per week. On joining you will receive 25 days leave per annum plus Bank Holidays. On completion of your probationary period you will be eligible to join the company Pension and Private Healthcare schemes.

Some travel is likely, typically to North America or main land Europe.

We are an active company. Our staff regularly run together during lunch breaks, go to the gym or play Badminton at the sports centre at Cranfield University. There are on site showers and staff also cycle to work.

We encourage staff to take part in our Team Building days (run annually) and also to participate in Activity days, allowing staff to take part in high adrenalin activities paid for by the company. See our website for more details!
